Chunky, angular, moveable coolness! What started out as a plan to cut a smooth nugget of hematite (taken, with permission, from my grown son’s childhood stash from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History) into a rose cut morphed into my lapidary creation of a geodesic-ish industrial stone. To complement the angles, I built a ring of silver, air, and angles to encapsulate the stone, allowing its angles to be seen. The stone shakes around in its industrial complex, an analogy for current events.
