Virtual Teaching Keum Boo
I just taught another virtual course that went great! I taught students the process of Keum Boo--bonding 24k gold to silver through the use of heat and burnishing. All students had success in creating gold embellished pieces that can be turned into jewelry--or just go in the sample bin. This was all virtual and used a different type of camera for live demos that plugged right into my computer. Sooooo much easier and better on Zoom for me switching back and forth from live lecture and screen sharing to live demo stations.
